PRAISE

Day #1:

Focus: The Glory of the Father
Praise: Father, You are Holy, Holy, Holy! You are worthy of our praise and Yours is the name above every other name. You are mighty to save! The heavens declare Your glory, and Your greatness is so evident in Your creation. I exalt You because You are so good and so mighty. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “The Lord reigns; he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed; he has put on strength as his belt. Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved. your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting.” - Psalm 93:1-2

Day #2:

Focus: Jesus’ Sacrifice On The Cross
Praise: Father, I praise You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to take my place upon the cross and bear the weight and judgment of my sins. You took all of my sin and shame, nailing it to the cross. Thank You for this free gift of new life in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.” - Colossians 2:13-14

Day #3:

In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.” - Romans 8:26-27

Day #4:

Focus: The Gift of God’s Word

Day #5:

Focus: Salvation In Christ
Praise: Father, You have made me a new creation and crucified my old life of sin and shame. Thank You that this gift is through no work of my own. You have given me the freedom to walk in the light instead of wandering in the darkness. Thank You that I no longer am bound by the chains of my past, but now my hope and future belong to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17

Day #6:

Focus: The Body of Christ
Praise: Lord, I praise You for Your church, the body of Christ. Ever since You created man, You have desired for us to live in community. I thank You for the church body in which You have placed me where I can learn and grow in You and live in fellowship with other believers. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Day #7:

Focus: Peace in Every Circumstance
Praise: Father, Your peace is unlike anything this world has to offer. It is never-ending. Even when great trials and tribulations come my way, You are always in control. Not only have You given me peace in this world, but also peace with You through the blood of Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

Day #8:

Focus: God’s Forgiveness
Praise: Lord, I praise You for the ultimate act of forgiveness—sending Jesus to the cross for my salvation. Thank You for continually forgiving me and being my constant advocate before the Father. Help me to extend that same grace to others. Amen.
Scripture: “For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.” - Psalm 103:11-12

Day #9:

Focus: The Steadfastness of God
Praise: Father, I rejoice in knowing that You are never late. I worship You because You are with me even in the uncertainty. Your promises last from generation to generation. You always stay the same. You will never fail. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever…” - Psalm 136:1-3

Day #10:

Focus: God is my Strength
Praise: Lord, You are my strength, my shield, and my rock. I praise Your great name because I can rely on Your strength to always sustain me. When I experience the hardships and distractions of this world, You are the foundation on which I will not be moved. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Day #11:

REPENT

Day #12:

Focus: My Sinful Nature
Praise: Father, first I praise You for Your grace, that You are a good God, full of mercy and steadfast love! You saw me in my sin and placed those sins on Your son, Jesus.
Repent: I confess that I am a sinner, born with a sinful nature that could not be removed by my own power. I repent of every one of my crimes against Your holiness - past, present, and future. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” - 1 John 1:9-10

Day #13:

Focus: No other gods
Praise: Father, first I praise You that You alone are the Creator! That You are the Maker of our universe and everything within it, including me.
Repent: I confess I have placed myself and other priorities before You, and I have neglected to worship You fully in spirit and in truth. I have placed both good things and bad things above You—none of which are worthy of my praise. I repent and run wholeheartedly toward Your grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.” - Exodus 20:2-3

Day #14:

Focus: Life’s Distractions
Praise: Father, I praise You for being the only living and true God - there is no one like You. You are the King of the universe, and there is nothing else worthy of my praise.
Repent: There are so many things in this world that can turn into distractions (career advancement, electronics, food, hobbies, family, children, money, etc). While many of these things are good, they have a great potential for being bad - especially when they receive my worship. I admit I get distracted and even enjoy other things more than You at times. I repent and turn my worship back to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.” - 1 John 2:15-16

Day #15:

Focus: Name of the Lord
Praise: Father, first I praise You that Your name is above every name. Your name alone is worthy of praise and adoration and should be honored and respected. Your name is so holy that the Israelites, out of great reverence, wouldn’t even utter it with their lips.
Repent: I confess I have casually used Your name when I am angry or out of a lack of reverence for You. Also, I have falsely used Your name to make promises, even when I know I can’t keep them. I confess the seriousness of my words and I repent. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “...for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. And his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.” - Luke 1:49-50

Day #16:

Focus: Self-Righteousness
Praise: Father, first I praise You for providing and sustaining my salvation through Your Son. You saw me in my utter helplessness and sin, yet You freely gave me the gift of salvation.
Repent: I often lose sight of salvation being a free gift, so I try to earn it. I constantly strive to earn Your love. I have tried with my own works and efforts to gain approval in Your eyes. I repent of this mindset and rest in Your saving work. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” - Ephesians 2:8-9

Day #17:

Focus: Dishonoring Father & Mother
Praise: Father, first I praise You for being sovereign over all things in my life, including who You gave to bring me into this world. I praise You that no matter who my parents are, You are my perfect Father in heaven. You are perfect love.
Repent: I confess that I have dishonored my parents by not caring for them with my heart or actions, and I repent of this evil that is towards You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother’ (this is the first commandment with a promise).” - Ephesians 6:1-3

Day #18:

Focus: Flee from Anger
Praise: Father, first I praise You for creating mankind in Your image and breathing life into each and every person. I thank You for how unique and wonderful You have created us.
Repent: I confess that I have hated others, and in my hatred of them, I have committed murder in my heart. I repent of this anger I have harbored in my heart for _________. I turn away from being angry with someone You uniquely created and designed in Your image. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “You have heard that it was said, ‘you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” - Matthew 5:43-48

Day #19:

Focus: Sexual Immorality
Praise: Father, I praise You for Your perfect, wise, and loving ways. You created me with purpose, and in You, I find my satisfaction.
Repent: I confess that I have not always fled from sexual immorality. There are times when I have been unfaithful either in thought or action. I have been prideful and selfish, seeking my wants and desires instead of submitting to Your will. I have sinned against You, sinned against my own body, and disrespected the people I love. I turn from sexual immorality and repent. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” - 1 Corinthians 6:18-20

Day #20:

Focus: A Lying Heart
Praise: Father, first I praise You that You are the source of all truth, and in You we find no deceit. You have given us a desire to seek truth in this life, and Your word is truth.
Repent: I confess I have lied and deceived others. Whether to avoid conflict, trouble, and hardship, or achieve personal gain, my lies are grave sins against You. I repent of these lies and turn toward Your truth. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.” - Proverbs 12:22

Day #21:

Focus: Stealing from Others
Praise: Father, first I praise You that You care for me more than I know or understand, for You have made me in Your image. You provide for the birds of the air and the flowers of the field. How much more do You care for me?
Repent: I confess that I have taken resources and time from others. You have given them these things, and I indulged my selfish desires to take them for myself. I repent of these actions. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need.” - Ephesians 4:28

Day #22:

Focus: Coveting
Praise: Father, first I praise You for the gift of salvation and all the other good blessings You pour out on me. You take care of all my needs and ensure that I am supplied with exactly what we need. You alone can satisfy my heart.
Repent: I confess I have been prideful and desire to live outside of what You have given me. I see others’ money, job, family, and possessions, and my mind is flooded with covetousness. I have not trusted in You for my daily bread and have not been content with Your blessings. I repent of this sin against You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” - Hebrews 13:5

ASK

Day #23:

Focus: Ask Your Good Father
Praise: Father, I praise You for Your goodness! You want to have a relationship with me - a sinner. I used to be Your enemy, but You have covered me with the blood of Christ. Now You call me Your child, and You want the best for me!
Repent: I confess that I neglect our relationship all too often, even though You are always there for me. I repent of this and choose to spend time growing closer to You, my Father in heaven.
Ask: I ask that You give me the boldness to pray these next eleven days, knowing You are my good Father who hears every single word. Help me always come to You with the comfort and confidence that You give Your children good gifts. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” - Matthew 7:7-11

Day #24:

Focus: Ask for a Love of God’s Word
Praise: Father, thank You for giving me Your Word. You have chosen to reveal Yourself to me through Scripture, and I praise You for how my relationship with You grows because of it.
Repent: While I have easy access to Your Word, I admit it is not the priority it should be in my life. Your Word is light and life, yet I too often decide to spend my day without spending time taking it in. I repent of this neglect and I turn to You.
Ask: Lord, change my heart and give me a deep desire to meditate on Your Word. Like a deer pants for water, make my soul yearn for the truth of Scripture. I ask You to write it on my heart and move me to make it a priority in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” - Hebrews 4:12

Day #25:

Focus: Ask for a Community of Believers
Praise: Father, thank You for the other believers You have put in my life. Thank You for giving me people who will point me toward You and walk through this world with me.
Repent: Forgive me for all the times I have taken other believers for granted, gossiped about other believers, or even completely avoided gathering with other believers. I repent and choose to follow Your will.
Ask: Lord, I ask You to surround me with other Christians who will help build up my faith and whom I can stir up to love and good works. Give me the words to say to encourage others in their faith. I pray that You would strengthen the faith of ___________, and bless them today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” - Hebrews 10:24-25

Day #26:

Focus: Ask for Strength
Praise: Father, You are my stronghold and my refuge. You are my strength in every season, every battle, and every valley of life.
Repent: So often I rely on my own strength to get through the day, overcome my sin struggles, and persevere through trials. I repent of this pride and choose to rely on Your strength.
Ask: Lord, You know my heart. I am dealing with ____________ (stress, anxiety, addiction, apathy, busyness…). I ask You to strengthen my faith today and remind me of Your faithfulness in all of my struggles. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: "But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9

Day #27:

Focus: Ask for Peace in Conflict
Praise: I praise You for ending the spiritual conflict between Your holiness and my sin by washing me with the blood of Jesus. You have given me the perfect example of humility, forgiveness, and mercy in Your Son.
Repent: I admit that I am too quick to anger, be selfish, and to not forgive. I have failed to follow Your example of humility, and I repent!
Ask: Lord, as You know, I am at odds with _________. I am hurt by the things they have done and said to me. Also, I have acted unkindly toward __________. Will You bring me to humility and help me realize my part in these conflicts? In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” - Matthew 5:23-24

Day #28:

Focus: Ask for Meekness
Praise: God, there are so many things to praise You for, and right now I center my mind on the meekness of Jesus. While You are full of holiness and majesty, You are not a god who keeps his distance. You sent Your son Jesus, who is gentle and lowly of heart, so that sinners like me could approach You and receive the good news of eternal life.
Repent: I confess that I often fail to follow Jesus’ example of meekness and humility. I repent of all of the times I have let this world’s troubles and temptations blind me from Your goodness and hope.
Ask: I ask that You constantly remind me of Your steadfast love and unchanging promises. By the power of the Holy Spirit, produce a meekness and humility in my heart like that of Jesus, so I may have a humble assurance and strong faith. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” - Philippians 2:6-8

Day #29:

Focus: Ask for Wisdom
Praise: Father, You are the King of the universe who knows all things, and Yours is the only absolute truth in this world. All other wisdom is folly compared to Your will and Your word.
Repent: When I search for wisdom, I confess that I often turn to other sources before asking You (the internet, other people, etc). Even when I ask You for wisdom, I too often doubt You can supply the answers I need in the timeframe I want them.
Ask: I ask You to give me wisdom in the small and big things of life. Specifically, I pray for wisdom with __________. I also pray for You to supply Your perfect wisdom to the members of my life group, our church leaders, and the decision-makers in our government. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.” - James 1:5-6

Day #30:

Focus: Ask for Peace
Praise: Father, I praise You for Your perfect peace that was bought with the precious blood of Christ. You have torn the veil, put me at peace with You, and freed me from the slavery of sin.
Repent: I confess that I do not always operate in peace. When I see the news, encounter conflict, and feel the pressures of life, I forget to turn to You, my perfect peace. I repent and seek Your face.
Ask: Lord, today I need You to wash Your peace over me, especially when it comes to ___________. I also pray for You to bring peace to these people who are hurting: ___________. When anxiety and worry try to take hold, fill our hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:6-7

Day #31:

Focus: Prayer for Faithfulness
Praise: Father, I praise You for Your unending faithfulness. I know I can always count on You and trust in Your promises. I praise You for the perfect example of faithfulness in Your son, Jesus.
Repent: I confess I have not remained faithful in everything You have called me to. I come to You, my God who is full of grace, and repent of my unfaithfulness.
Ask: Lord, help me to remain faithful in all that You have called me to do. Strengthen my commitment to You and to the responsibilities You have entrusted to me. I specifically pray that You would help me remain faithful with ___________. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’” - Matthew 25:21

Day #32:

Focus: Prayer for a Pure Heart
Praise: Father, I praise You that You have washed me clean with the blood of Jesus Christ! You saw my dark and filthy heart, but You brought it into the light and made it the home of Your Holy Spirit.
Repent: I confess I have taken the freedom I have in You and used it as an excuse to sin. I have clouded my heart with the things of this world and not tuned my ears to the Holy Spirit. I repent of this sin against You.
Ask: Like Your Word says, “Create in me a clean heart O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Show me my sinfulness and help me walk on the straight and narrow path that leads to life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” - Ezekiel 26:26

Day #33:

Focus: Prayer for Boldness
Praise: Father, You have given me the best news I will ever hear in my life! You saved me from sin and death and gave me eternity with You. Hallelujah!
Repent: I confess my lack of boldness to share this good news with others. I know this comes from selfishness and fear. I repent of these things and turn to You.
Ask: Lord, help me to stand firm and speak boldly about You, without fear or hesitation. Fill me with courage to share Your truth and love with others. I specifically pray for boldness to share Your good news with __________ today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness…” - Acts 4:29

YIELD

Day #34:

Focus: Following God’s Truth
Praise: Father, first I praise You for showing us an example in Jesus of how we should strive to live. You have made Yourself known to me! You lead me in the way I should go all the days of my life.
Repent: I confess that I am a very selfish person who puts my ways over Yours all too often. I repent of following the ways of this world.
Ask: Will You show me Your ways and Your will as I read Your Word today? Give me the eyes to see and the ears to hear Your truth over the lies of this world.
Yield: Today, I yield my time and actions to Your will. I see the work of my faithful Creator and Savior, Jesus, and give my whole life to You: my plans, my job, my family, my everything. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.” - Psalm 25:4-5

Day #35:

Focus: A Heavenly Mindset
Praise: Father, You have given me the great hope of eternity with You in Christ. I thank You that You have sealed my salvation with the Holy Spirit, and I am hidden with Christ in heaven. As my good Father, You give me great blessings even here on earth.
Repent: I admit that I often lose sight of the things of heaven. I get caught up in all the plans I have for my life on earth (career, vacations, family, hobbies, etc). In this moment, I repent and lift my eyes toward heaven.
Ask: Will You use Scripture and other people to remind me of heaven, today? I ask You to reveal the parts of my life that are living for the here and now.
Yield: I shift my mind from the temporary to the eternal. Stir my heart toward things of eternal value. With Your power, I will have the strength and courage to share the Gospel, help the needy, and encourage others. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.” - James 4:14

Day #36:

Focus: Stewarding our Resources
Praise: Father, I thank You for all of the blessings You pour out on me. I do not deserve them, yet You still abundantly bless me. All of my possessions belong to You because they were never mine in the first place.
Repent: Even though this is true, I still hold on to material things and claim them as my own. I confess that money is often an idol in my life; sometimes, without even knowing it. I repent and submit to Your rule and authority.
Ask: Will You change my heart to be a cheerful giver and steward my possessions wisely? How can I use my resources to make much of You and further Your kingdom?
Yield: I yield to Your Spirit for a heart of cheerful giving and thankfulness. I trust You to help me knock down the idols of material possessions in my life and have a biblical view of money. You are more precious than silver and gold. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” - 2 Corinthians 9:7

Day #37:

Focus: Don’t Rely on Your “Wisdom”
Praise: Father, I thank You that You have all of the answers I need. I know I can trust Your Word to guide, instruct, correct, and lead me in the way I should go.
Repent: I often think I know all of the answers, instead of seeking Your wisdom. I repent of my wayward heart and cling to You.
Ask: Lord, bring my heart to seek all the answers from You instead of acting on my own understanding. Right now, will You reveal to me Your wisdom as I deal with _________?
Yield: When trials and temptation come, may I rely on Your good and perfect Word, the source of all wisdom. As a lowly sinner, I submit to Your instruction and correction. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” - Proverbs 3:5-6

Day #38:

Focus: Cast Your Anxieties on Him
Praise: Father, first I praise You for being my refuge and strength, a constant help in times of trouble. You are my shepherd, I shall not want. You lead me by calm waters until my fears are far away.
Repent: There are so many things in this world that I run to when I am stressed (food, entertainment, sinful behaviors, etc). I confess my tendency to worry and try to control things on my own. I repent of it all!
Ask: I ask You according to Your Word for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard my heart and mind. Will You also comfort the people in my life who are struggling with anxiety?
Yield: Today I yield my anxious thoughts and fears to Your perfect will, trusting in Your sovereign plan. I submit myself under Your mighty hand, including my anxiety about __________. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” - 1 Peter 5:6-7

Day #39:

Focus: Obedience to share the Gospel
Praise: Father, I cannot praise You enough for bringing me from death to life. Thank You for making the Gospel a free gift because I could not do anything to deserve it. I also praise You for the men and women who faithfully preached this Good News that I may believe.
Repent: I confess that there is a complacency in my life to share the Gospel with others. I pass by hundreds, if not thousands, of souls headed for hell each day without telling them life is so much more! I repent of this apathy and submit to Your commands.
Ask: Will You place a desire and urgency in my heart to reach lost people with the Gospel? Burden my heart for those who have not come to know You. I pray specifically for these people to come to salvation: ___________.
Yield: I acknowledge You have given us the Great Commission - not the great suggestion - and I resolve to share the good news of Jesus with the people in my life. I know You will be faithful to present me with Gospel opportunities. May I be faithful in sharing! In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

Day #40:

Focus: Sanctify Me, O Lord
Praise: Father, I praise You for saving me from my old life. Your love is so great that You took me in just as I was. Even more, Your Spirit convicts me and prompts me to be more like Jesus every day.
Repent: I confess that I have taken Your grace for granted and entertained sin in my life. Forgive me for the seasons where I have been stagnant and not pursuing You. I repent of lukewarm Christianity.
Ask: Will You show me the next step I need to take to look more like Jesus? Surround me with fellow believers who are serious about growing in their faith, and convict me with Your truth in Scripture.
Yield: I set my eyes on the hope of heaven where there will be no more sin and pain. Until that day, I resolve to surrender my heart, plans, and will to You - no matter the cost. I acknowledge this comes through abiding in You with daily discipline and a genuine relationship. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” - Luke 9:23

Day #41:

Focus: God Reveals His Glory
Praise: Father, Your glory is unmatched and worthy of praise! Thank You for revealing this glory to lowly sinners like me. You have revealed Yourself as full of mercy, slow to anger, unchanging, and the source of justice. Hallelujah, our God reigns!
Repent: I admit that I will never be able to fully comprehend the full weight and riches of Your glory, but often I fail to acknowledge it in my everyday life. I lack a proper awe and reverence for You. I repent of this misplaced priority.
Ask: Please open the eyes of my heart to see Your glory today through Your creation and Your Word. I ask You to give me the words to say to my family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors so they can join me in awe of You.
Yield: I yield to the Word of God to shape my view of You instead of the misconceptions from the world. May I actively write Your Word on my heart and spend time talking to You so I have a clearer view of Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children's children, to the third and the fourth generation.” - Exodus 34:6-7

Day #42:

Focus: Submitting My Family to God
Praise: Father, I praise You for the gift of family and how it serves as a shadow of Your love and closeness. Thank You for my family: ______________. You intentionally created each of us and brought us together.
Repent: I confess that I let the busyness of life distract our family from centering around Christ. I have allowed us to prioritize _______________ (sports, entertainment, electronics, work, school, etc) ahead of You. I repent of this lack of stewardship.
Ask: Will You reveal to my family Your goodness and faithfulness? Give us a proper biblical view of marriage, parenting, forgiveness, and love.
Yield: Jesus, I submit to You out of obedience and surrender my family to You. In their unfaithfulness, the Israelites would have false household gods. I resolve to cast away everything my family has made an idol before You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” - Proverbs 22:6

Day #43:

Focus: Letting Go of Control
Praise: I praise You for having everything in Your control and directing my life. You knew me before I was born, and You have great plans for me. There is nothing better and sweeter than Your will for me.
Repent: I confess that I have attempted to take control of my life instead of submitting to Your will. I repent of my schemes to direct my life and build my kingdom here on this earth.
Ask: Will You remind me to trust in You for my daily bread and learn to number my days on this earth? What am I failing to submit to Your control? Please comfort me and bring me peace as I take my hands off the wheel of life.
Yield: Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. I seek to live for You, my Faithful Creator with every breath that You give me. May every good work of mine give You glory and praise. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “I know, O Lord, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.” - Jeremiah 10:23

Day #44:

Focus: What Breaks God’s Heart
Praise: Father, You know the depths of my heart. I praise You for being a compassionate God, full of grace and mercy. Even from the beginning of time, Your plan was to rescue us from our sin with the spotless lamb of God - Jesus Christ.
Repent: Lord, I confess that I am a sinner in need of You - my Savior. I live in a world of brokenness to which I have contributed. I am sorry to say that I have done things to break Your heart. I repent and run wholeheartedly toward Your loving and merciful arms.
Ask: Break my heart for what breaks Yours! What am I doing right now that is breaking Your heart? Overwhelm me with compassion for those who are still slaves to sin and those who are hurting.
Yield: I yield to Your Spirit today so that I may see things as You do. As I reflect on Your Son’s broken body on the cross, I am reminded of how You healed me from my brokenness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scripture: “Now while Paul was waiting for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him as he saw that the city was full of idols.” - Acts 17:16

Day #45

Focus: Trusting God’s Timing
Praise: Father, You are sovereign over all things. Your timing is perfect, and Your plans are always good. I praise You for being a God who sees the beginning and the end, who is never late, and who works all things for the good of those who love You.
Repent: Lord, I confess that I often grow impatient and try to take control instead of waiting on You. I struggle to trust Your timing and sometimes doubt Your plans. Forgive me for my lack of faith, and help me to surrender my worries to You.
Ask: Teach me to trust You in the waiting. When I feel restless or discouraged, remind me that Your ways are higher than mine. Give me patience and peace as I lean into Your perfect timing for my life.
Yield: I yield my timeline, my expectations, and my plans to You today. Help me walk in faith, knowing that You are never early, never late, but always on time. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Scripture: “Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” – Psalm 27:14
